Reporting a bug
Bug reports are much easier to act on with a little context. If you can, include:
- Which game you were playing, and the room code if you still have it
- Your browser and device (for example "Chrome on Android" or "Safari on a Mac")
- How many people were in the room
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
Video and microphone problems are the most common report. If that is your issue, it helps enormously to know whether you were on mobile data or wifi, and whether you were on a corporate or school network — those block the peer-to-peer connections that carry video.
Privacy and data requests
For anything about your data — access, correction or deletion — email the address above with "Privacy" in the subject line. See the privacy policy for what is and is not stored.
Feature requests
Requests for new games are the most common message we get, and they do get built — several of the games in the room started as an email from someone who wanted to play something specific with their group. If you are suggesting one, it helps a lot to say how many people you play with and whether the game needs a camera, because those two constraints shape almost every design decision here.
The other frequent request is for settings: longer or shorter rounds, different word difficulties, larger rooms. Tell us the specific number you want rather than "make it configurable" — it is much easier to act on.
Things we cannot help with
- Recovering a finished room. Rooms live in memory and are destroyed when the host leaves or the game ends. Drawings, chat and scores are not recoverable afterwards, by design — see the privacy policy.
- Account problems. There are no accounts. If a name or score is not what you expect, clearing site data for this domain resets everything Poparty has stored in your browser.
- Content in someone else's room. Rooms are private and created by users, and we do not monitor them. If you are in a room you want to leave, close the tab. For serious abuse, email us with as much detail as you can.
Press and partnerships
Same address. Happy to answer questions, provide screenshots or logos, or set up a room so you can try the games with your own group before writing about them. If you run a "best free browser games" roundup and want to check a detail before publishing, just ask — we would rather be described accurately than generously.
Privacy of your message
Emails you send are read only by us and are not shared, sold or used for marketing. We keep support correspondence only as long as it takes to resolve the issue.
